The Euro and the Copa América are currently being played; in July the Gold Cup and The Olympics get underway.
The Euro, cancelled due to the pandemic last year, has venues scattered throughout Europe - from Baku, Azerbaijan in the east to London in the west. This year's Euro runs June 11 through July 11.
Also ongoing is the Copa América, hosted by Brazil from June 13 through July 10.
Argentina and Uruguay were originally scheduled to co-host in 2020 but the pandemic halted those plans. Cities of note hosting are Rio de Janeiro and Brasília - some of the contestants are Chile, Argentina, Uruguay and the host nation.
Shortly after those two tournaments finish, the USA, México, Canada, Jamaica, Costa Rica and other North/Central American/Caribbean squads gather across America to vie for the Gold Cup from July 10 to August 1.
Notable host cities in the US include Houston and Las Vegas. The Americans are seeking their seventh title; México looks for number 11. This incredible summer of soccer wraps up with the Olympic Soccer competition from July 21 to August 7 in Japan. 16 of the world's best under-23 national teams will convene on the island nation.
Among the venues are Tokyo, Yokohama and Sapporo.
Those looking to claim the gold medal include México, Honduras, Brazil, Argentina, Germany, France, Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
Who will come out on top? Keep an eye on your favorite country's team this summer and show off your soccer pride with a little help from Mato & Hash.
